Hi everyone,(this is JOEL)

I cant create a log in so i have to use mums. For some reason everything is in korean so i dont understand the instructions.

Anyway sorry about the late post. On Friday i finally got my first pay. So today I went and bought some goodies that i have been looking forward to buying. I got a phone now but it will not be in operatoin until monday the numer is 010 5790 1456.

Its acually pretty flash. im on a plan so its a little cheaper than having prepaid.

I am settling in well here and would love to hear from everyone soon. I have been going out lots and meeting some interesting people.

I had a date with a cute chick on wednesday but it turned out being a date with myself. Anyway these things happen. PLenty of fish in the barrel:)

Today i had a nice massage. or in korean massagy. It was interesting but really professional. SHe dug those elbows in nice and hard!!

Enjoying life here and liking the food. Getting paid makes me happy but more would be nice :)

I will take some pictures and post them up on the blog so you guys can see where i live. Its cool becaues i no longer have a roomate i can invite chicks back easily (i mean family can come and stay!!)

Teaching has becaome easier and easier but i still have a little chalenge with one class. THey have become a little overbearing for me and i have to snap them into line. But the little kids are really cute and i have fun with them.

its now spring time here and the weather is getting a little warmer. This pleases me very much. I have been a little sick of being cold all the time.

HOpe everything is well down under. Cant wait to see your mesages on the blog.

Peace

Joel

Hello Joel,
Just sent you an email with some more ideas for your next 'challenging' class. Let me know how you go!
Nanna's having a great time up here. She arrived yesterday but has only been in our house to sleep as we've been busy, busy, busy on the social front since her arrival. Tomorrow I'm off to work but Nanna's in charge of making one of her famous meatloaves for our work/swim/picnic at Lake Eacham tomorrow afternoon. Shame we can't 'feast-mail' you some!!!
Let me know how you go with your next teaching challenge.
Sandra.

Hi guys,
I've just found these messages. I didn't realise you were all contributing. Well done! Yes, its boody raining here too and I have a house full of visitors! The first of the Germans arrived yesterday about 5.30pm. They couldn't get over how warm it was and slept with the fan on all night! (They usually have a doona on in Tmba) Dave and I cooked our hearts out last weekend so we are just pulling stuff out of the freezer for dinner last night and tonight. It feels like the Salvation Army soup kitchen. Tris and Angie are getting very excited about their trip. I think it was something like 15 sleeps the last time I was talking to them. I'm taking them to the airport on April 4. they are so excited.
Anyway, I'm glad to see you are using the blog. It worked so well last time, and hopefully it will this time too. Joel do you have any idea what numbers I have to put in front of your mobile number to send a text to you? Let me know if you find out. It would be nice to text you every how and then. I often get one from Ela in Germany and its really nice to hear from her (even though they usually come through in the early hours of the morning)
Love to you all
Viki

Hi folks so I finally got to contribuitng to the new blog. I spoke to Joel Tonite for a while on skype. With the skype phone you get a little tone message each time somebody you know cranks up their machhine and their name come up on the phone display- pretty cool eh! The weekend with the German crew was really good. Good surf - a few good dumpers to boot. Silvio informed us that we had a free internet connection . It seems that probably the guys in the unit down below us have not got password protection on their wireless broadband. It came up on his laptop when he fired it up. Anyway they were able to get all the European Soccer league results as well as other stuff -compliments of the neighbours!!
Weather is starting to cool down in Woomby - that Autumn again!
Going home now
See You

Hi Everyone,
I've posted the instructions on how to load photos on the blog on www.cartershare222.blogspot.com so go and have a look if you like. Its really easy to do. You can create your own login if you like or you can just use the login that I created and put into the instructions.

I'd love to see everyone elses photos. Sandra, I'm glad you have been able to help Joel with his teaching "challenges" makes you wonder what they are going to be like as teenagers!

We are still waiting for news of Natalie's baby. He was due on the weekend but here it is Tues and still no news. I hope to be able to go down and see him as soon as he is born. It kind of like a cyclone coming, exciting and terrifying all at the same time! We are just keeping our fingers crossed that everything goes well for her and we have a lovely healthy baby to cuddle soon.

We all received invitations to Loretta's 21st recently but its a bit of an awkard time as Tris and Angie only get back from Thailand a few days before and Ang is understandably anxious about leaving Gemma again so close to getting home and we have the Myers' coming that weekend. Tris may go down on his own. Not sure yet. Love Viki
